  • The many comments about revoking tax status are incorrect. The church can most definitely talk about any issues concerning the lives of their parishioners that breaches the doctrine of the faith. What they cannot do is endorse a candidate or suggest how a parishioner is to vote.

  • Unbelievably biased article. The title makes it sound like a recently returned Iraq soldier goes on killing spree when in fact it was someone discharged in Nov. 2009 for illegal actions in his military assignment stateside.

  • I cannot believe in the many posts I've read, no one has considered that Iran has signal technology that took over command of the drone. The military said in this article that they lost control and the drone changed direction and headed for Iran.

  • Truett, research the interpretation of the First Amendment. The government is prohibited in the establishment of religion. It the government passes laws that regulate what the church can do, they have violated that statement in the First Amendment.

  • The constitution protects churches in the practice of their faith. If a church doctrine based on sacred texts states that same gender sexual behavior is an offense to their god, then they have a right to practice their faith accordingly.
